Hello Friends,
We have experienced so much in the last 7 weeks- each in our own way. We are grieving loss, healing trauma and experiencing growing-pains as we adjust to a new world. Along with this, I pray you have found pockets of light, calm and hope for brighter days to come.
I want to continue to report to you on how Herbal medicine has been helping many people recover from the various manifestations of this virus, as well cope with the stress and anxiety of this time. This is especially important as new cases continue to develop, and because experts are predicting a resurgence in the Fall/Winter. Moreover, children who were thought to be immune are now declared susceptible too (see article below on children by Dr. Song).
I have listed below a few testimonials written by the patients themselves in order to educate you and your loved ones that there are safe and effective resources available to us. What you will notice is that each of them feels a change after just 2 days. This is quite remarkable considering the fact that Western medical interventions for Covid-19 are experimental and unfortunately not effective enough to cure and save people.
As I’ve been writing for weeks, Chinese medicine has a 3,000-year history of experience in treating viruses and epidemics. We have so much data to inform and guide our treatment of patients today, and our patients are recovering quickly. Herbalists are not afraid of this virus. We understand a lot about it and have the tools to combat it. These tools are literally hundreds of herbs (leaves, seeds, roots, berries) that contain anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-tussive, immunostimulant, and Neuro/Endocrine-regulating properties.
Hopefully one day soon the larger medical community in this country will partner with herbalists for more effective patient-care. Until that day, Complementary Medicine practitioners all over the world are currently collecting data on patients’ responses to herbal and alternative interventions for Covid-19 to make this day come sooner. I am proud to be able to contribute to this project.
If you haven’t already written to me with your response to the herbal prescriptions, please do so. I want to hear your responses to the Anti-viral herbs and I want to hear from those of you whom I’ve sent herbs for stress, anxiety and insomnia. This data is important to teach the Medical community that Complementary medical practitioners are “essential” to the health of us all.
In Health & Partnership,
Miriam
